It's tempting to treat each of these as standalone psychological problems. But the most useful questions are often: What changed? When did it change? What else started around the same time?

Menopause may be part of the explanation.  It should never become the explanation for everything.

WHY HYPNOSIS BELONGS HERE

Not bolted on. Backed by research

Level I

The Menopause Society's 2023 nonhormone therapy position statement lists clinical hypnosis as a Level I evidence intervention for vasomotor symptoms.

5 sessions

A 2013 randomised controlled trial found substantial improvements in hot flushes with a five-session clinical hypnosis intervention.

250 women

A more recent randomised trial found self-administered hypnosis reduced hot-flush scores and interference significantly more than an active control.

We're just as clear about where the evidence is thinner. You won't find claims here that hypnosis "balance hormones" or "fixes cortisol" — and that honesty is exactly what makes your practice credible to clients and GPs.

THE FRAMEWORK

The MenoMethod it's not just scripts.  It's a clinical pathway that shows you when and how to use them.

Menopause facts are easy to find. What's missing is a way to turn them into excellent clinical work. MENO gives you a pathway you'll remember and use with every client.

M

Map the Menopause picture

Recognise where she is in the transition and which symptom clusters are in play.

 N

Hypervigilance, anticipation, sleep, attention and the behaviours keeping it going.

O

Outcome-focused hypnotherapy

Targeted, personalised hypnosis with outcomes you can actually measure.
THE CURRICULUM
Six Modules - Enough Science To Understand Her - Without A Medical Degree
MODULE 1

Menopause essentials for hypnotherapists

Perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause; surgical and medical menopause; symptom clusters; and why two women can experience it completely differently.

Is this menopause, burnout, or something else?

How menopause shows up as anxiety, burnout, insomnia, brain fog or “I just don’t feel like myself” — and what needs medical assessment first.

MODULE 3

Hormones, stress and the nervous system

Explore how hormonal changes and the stress response can affect mood, sleep and everyday resilience.

MODULE 4

Assessment & case foundation

A menopause-aware intake form and step-by-step formulation that finds the real therapeutic target, not just what the presenting issue is.

Menopause-focused hypnotherapy

Menopause-focused hypnotherapy with a series of scripts for the most common presentations plus how to adapt them to each client's goals, language and triggers.

MODULE 6

Integration, ethics & clinical practice

Scope, referral, working alongside GPs and menopause doctors, MHT awareness without giving medical advice, and tracking outcomes.

SIX CORE PROTOCOLS

Not 30 scripts. Six protocols you'll understand well enough to adapt.

SCENARIO

Same client. Three hypnotherapists. Three different treatments.

Sarah, 48: hot flushes, waking at 3am, irritable with her partner, struggling to concentrate, and worried she's “losing it.”

Hypnotherapist A

Targets sleep.

Hypnotherapist B

Targets hot flushes.

Hypnotherapist C

Discovers Sarah's biggest distress is the fear she's becoming incompetent at work.

All three could technically treat Sarah. This training teaches you to find the treatment that matters most to her.

Hi, I'm Hana

I spent years working alongside women in corporate who were quietly struggling, and I was one of them. There's a fine line between burnout and menopause, and I've lived it.

When I trained as a Menopause Champion and in menopause hypnotherapy, one thing stood out: most practitioners focus on hot flushes. But the symptoms are far broader, and so is the impact on a woman's identity and the emotional issues shaping her experience. That's the gap The MENO Method™ fills.

I also work closely with a Registered Nurse who is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society, so everything I teach stays grounded in current evidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

I already work with anxiety and sleep.  Why do I need this?
Because the missing piece might be perimenopause.  This training helps you recognise when perimenopause is behind what your clients present with, enable you to find the real therapeutic target, and know when a GP needs to be involved.  That makes your existing skills more effective.
How is this different from other Menopause courses?
Most menopause courses teach symptoms and often focus on hot flushes.  Most courses are also just a bunch of scripts.  You'll get the scripts and learn how to assess, formulate and tailor them, so each session fits the woman in front of you.  It's built by a practising hypnotherapist and supervisor with her own lived menopause experience.
Who is it for?
Already qualified hypnotherapists.
How much time will it take?
The training is one full day 9:00am-5:00pm and then you will need 1.5 hours post training to complete your case for submission.
Do I need a medical background
No.  You'll learn enough physiology to understand your clients, not to diagnose as that's out of your scope of practice.
Can I use the protocols and templates with my clients?
Yes, everything in the toolkit is yours to use in your own practice, including the logo to advertise with.

What support is available after the course?
There will be three fortnightly sessions for 1 hour as a  Q&A after the training day.  Thereafter, mentoring or supervision is available separately.
What's your refund policy?
Because places are limited and the training is prepared for attendees there are no change of mind refunds, or transfers to a later date.  If you can't make it live, don't worry the recording will be available 3 days after the training date so you won't miss anything.
